Welcome to Put it Out Rockland, the Rockland County Department of Health’s tobacco prevention resource site. We offer programs that reduce tobacco use rates among youth, promote quitting among adults and youth, and reduce exposure to secondhand smoke.

Rockland County is also part of the POW’R coalition, a 4-county coalition representing Putnam, Orange, Westchester and Rockland counties. The coalition offers mini-grants to help local organizations get involved in the fight against tobacco.

Please take the time to browse this site and learn more about the effects of tobacco use, the ingredients in a cigarette, benefits of quitting, quit smoking programs, or find information that can help you or someone you love quit smoking.
