What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is
a web format that contains news content of a website. An RSS
feed can be published when a website updates its news items.
This RSS feed delivers any new stories that are published on a
website to an RSS reader. Getting access to RSS feeds allows you to receive all
news from a single location instead of having to navigate through
multiple pages or sites searching for the news items you need.
What is an RSS reader?
In order to view RSS feeds, you
must have an RSS Reader. RSS readers are programs that
download RSS feeds and display the content into a readable format.
RSS readers can be stand-alone programs for your PC or mobile
device, or they can be web-based.
Stand-alone RSS readers are
downloadable programs that allow you to store RSS feeds on your
PC or mobile device. The feeds can also be integrated with your e-mail or
mobile device. Also Web-based RSS readers can let you view feeds from
any computer through a web service (e.g. Yahoo or Google).

How do I view RSS Feeds?
Once you have an RSS reader on your
PC, mobile device, or web-based reader service you can
start viewing County and other RSS feeds. In order to do this, copy the URL
(web address) from your browser into a new feed in your RSS reader.
You will now be receiving RSS feeds from the originating County website to your
reader.
