Connie
Coker has been a Rockland County Legislator since April 2006 and has a
unique background and commitment to public service.
She is a retired nurse and a Licensed Midwife and has experience in the
design and implementation of innovative health care delivery in area
clinics and hospitals. For 10 years, Connie operated a private health
care practice in Nyack providing comprehensive gynecological care and
midwifery services which include prenatal care, homebirth, and
postpartum care. She has a valuable first hand perspective on how to
serve the needs of the public. Her legislative agenda is based on her
commitment to the health, well-being and safety of the citizens of
Rockland County.
Legislator Coker is determined to address the concerns of the residents
of District 17 and Rockland County.
She has clearly heard and will focus on the following:

Personal:
Connie Coker lives
in South Nyack; she is married to Erik
Larsen, MD (White Plains Emergency Department). Connie and Erik have two
daughters: Keah Larsen is a graduate of
Nyack High School and SUNY New Paltz with a degree in Women’s Studies.
Anika Larsen is also a graduate of Nyack
High School. She has attended SUNY Delhi-Culinary Arts and Rockland
Community College.
