Our 341-bed skilled nursing
facility is dedicated to individuals requiring around the clock medical
care. This facility also has a 41-bed unit that is dedicated to
Alzheimer’s and dementia residents. It is self-contained and restraint
free and specifically designed for Alzheimer’s or Dementia residents
who are still able to walk on their own.

Each Rockland County Infirmary resident
has an Individual Care Plan. The Care Plan is reviewed as the
resident’s condition changes.

Our patients and residents have access to
the full range of medical services, rehabilitation program and
recreational therapies described in this brochure.
|
|
|
Residents are encouraged to wear personal
clothing. Clothing and blankets are washed and ironed by the
department’s laundry services and returned to the resident.
|
|
|
Recreational activities are seven days a week. |
