Rockland County Joins in
Hurricane Preparedness Program
April 22, 2010 - The County of Rockland has joined the New York
State Emergency Management Office (SEMO) in launching an innovative
program designed to help Rockland County residents become better
prepared for the 2010 hurricane/coastal storm season.

11-17th as 9-1-1 Dispatcher Week in Rockland

- Rockland County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef today proclaimed
Sunday, April 11th- Saturday, April 17th as 9-1-1 Dispatcher Week in
Rockland County by presenting dispatchers with a proclamation for
their efforts in calmly dispatching calls to help save the lives and
property of our citizens.
